1. Get Fresh With Them – Post New, Unseen Posts Daily to your Facebook Fan Page

Imagine going to the nearest cafe, only to find that they serve the same boring lunch special everyday, all day. Regardless of how much you liked it the first time, it’s pretty likely that you’d tire of it on a repeated basis. You want your fan page to get more engagement? Then you’re going to have to give up Fresh new content and posts daily! Tit-For-Tat is the rule here. Keep it fresh and consistent, or keep getting ignored!

2. Spread Em’ – Spread Your Facebook Fan Page Posts Out

I am definitely throwing you major side eye if you’re the type of business that is shoving multiple posts down your fans news feed trying to get them to engage! Too much, too soon is always annoying, and will get your fans to click UN-LIKE on your fan page and that’s not what you want. Instead, spread em’ out throughout the course of the day to get them looking forward to seeing you on Facebook, and being interested and entertained. Try spreading out 6 posts over a 24 hour day, giving them 1 valuable post every 4 hours.

3. Plan Ahead! – Schedule Your Posts Out on Your Fan Page

Work smarter, not harder, so that you can get more done while leaving you some time to get other necessary things done. You chose to become your own boss to get away from the mundane work and getting stuck behind your laptop remember?! Instead, make use of Facebook’s handy dandy scheduling feature on your Facebook fan page, or utilize apps like Post Planner to get your fans engaged, posts scheduled and done, ahead of time!

4. Inquire! – Ask Questions on your  Facebook fan page

Business is all about relationships baby! So get to know your fans, get them involved in your community by asking questions that will help you to get them hyped and eager to chime in! People like to be heard, and love to give their opinion and feedback, so give them what they like and want and make at least one of your 6 posts, a question that prompts your fans to answer! If you’re having a question block, and aren’t sure what to ask, use the “Status Engine”, a fan engagement tool created by Post Planner to come up with a ton of already thought out questions you can use, or spike ideas!
