I’m all about these 5 overnight skincare hacks because… Hi my name is Jae, and I’m lazy AF! As a busy female entrepreneur who suffers from major bouts of insomnia, sleep and lounge time are two things I swoon over. This means I’m always looking for a quick fix or hack in life and that includes my beauty and skincare routine.
When I found ways that I could get more sleep and wake up looking like I actually tried, I was all about the ways! If you’re anything like me, and are willing to compromise your morning makeup and hair routine for a few more zzz’s then read on.
Coconut Oil
If you know me, you know my love for the benefits of coconut oil. I use it on everything, so of course it made the list as one of 5 overnight skincare hacks. With it’s antioxidant and disinfecting abilities it makes for a perfect natural makeup remover and skin cleanser. Slather your face with the oil and rub in a circular motion using a warm, damp cloth to wipe it all off. Your skin will feel soft and fresh. Get yours here.
Aloe Vera
I used to use Aloe Vera as one of my overnight skincare hacks in college, but stopped and forgot all about it until now. Take a fresh aloe plant and cut so that the inner aloe is exposed and rub under your eyes. Leave on overnight and rinse in the morning. I naturally have dark eyes, so it’s amazing for hiding dark circles and zombie shadows. Also great for cuts, bruises, burns and acne as well as an anti-aging remedy. You can purchase fresh aloe from the grocery store or pure Aloe Vera gel here.
Vaseline and Vitamin E
I love this two in one duo. One of my fave overnight skincare hacks for giving your face, hands, and feet some serious moisture. Mix them together and apply to your face, and body and let your skin drink. You can also apply a bit to your eyebrows to keep them in shape helping them to appear fresh and full when you wake up. - Take 2 tsp Vaseline in a clean bowl
- Add oil of 4 vitamin E capsules
- Mix them very well until they both are mixed very well
- Refrigerate and store in a plastic container (Up to 1 month)
Coconut Oil & Aloe Vera Lip Mask
I’m all about keeping my already plump lips soft and fresh, hence my obsession with lip moisturizers. This lip mask can be applied before bed to exfoliate dead skin and heal chapped lips. Wake up and remove excess from your lips with a warm, damp cloth to get extra sexy soft lips in the a.m.
Manuka Honey & Yogurt
Out of all 5 of the overnight skincare hacks, this honey and yogurt mask is the only one I haven’t actually tried. I chose to put it on the list because I’ve heard a lot of great reviews about it from friends and fam, so I’m going to incorporate it into my next overnight regimen. Therefore, you should prepare to wake up to a fresh face of moisturized skin (courtesy of the honey) that glows

Mix 1 tbsp Honey + 1 tbsp Yogurt = Spread thin layer across your face before bed and rinse thoroughly in the morning.
